THE HONOURABLE MARC NADON

Born September 7, 1949 in Saint-Jérôme, Quebec. Education at Lionel Groulx College and University of Sherbrooke. Called to the Bar of Quebec, 1974. Lawyer & Partner, Martineau Walker, Montreal, 1974-93 and Partner, London office of Fasken Martineau Walker, 1988-90. Lecturer, Maritime and Transportation Law, Faculty of Law, University of Sherbrooke, 1987-88, 1991-92 and 1992-93. Appointed Judge of the Federal Court of Canada, Trial Division and ex officio member of the Court of Appeal, June 10, 1993. Appointed Judge of the Court Martial Appeal Court of Canada, April 14, 1994 and judicial member of the Competition Tribunal, December 16, 1998. Appointed Judge of the Federal Court of Canada, Appeal Division, December 14, 2001. Since July 2, 2003, the date of the coming into force of the Courts Administration Service Act, he is now Judge of the Federal Court of Appeal.
